In these Terms and Conditions:
“Company” means African World Park, its employees, agents, and authorized representatives.
“Client / Guest / You / Your” means any person or group booking or participating in a safari, tour, or travel arrangement with African World Park.
“Tour / Safari / Itinerary” means the travel arrangements, services, and activities organized by the Company.
“Operator” includes African World Park and any third-party partners, such as lodges, transport providers, and guides.
All bookings must be made in writing via email or online booking form.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari or tour cost is required to confirm a booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before departure.
Bookings made within 45 days of the departure date require full payment at the time of booking.
Upon receiving payment, African World Park will send a written confirmation, which constitutes a binding agreement.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
The Company reserves the right to adjust prices due to changes in park fees, taxes, currency exchange rates, or supplier costs beyond our control.
Included in your safari price:
Accommodation as stated in the itinerary
Meals as per itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)
Park entrance fees
Services of a professional English-speaking guide
Transport within Tanzania in a 4×4 safari vehicle
Bottled drinking water during game drives
Not included:
International flights and airport taxes
Visa fees
Travel insurance
Personal expenses (laundry, drinks, tips, phone calls)
Optional activities not included in the itinerary
African World Park reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or transport due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, safety, or government restrictions).
Clients will be informed as soon as possible of any major changes.
If a significant alteration is made, the client may accept the revised arrangements or cancel for a refund of unused services.
Changes requested by the client (e.g., dates, group size, itinerary adjustments) may incur administrative fees and additional costs.
All cancellations must be made in writing to African World Park.
The following charges apply based on the time before the tour start date:

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 30 business days, minus bank or transaction charges.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory and must cover medical emergencies, evacuation, and cancellation.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel and participate in safari activities.
You are responsible for obtaining necessary vaccinations (e.g., Yellow Fever) and malaria prophylaxis before arrival.
Guests must follow all guide instructions to ensure safety during game drives and excursions.
African World Park is not liable for any illness, injury, or loss incurred during the trip.
Guests must ensure they have valid passports (minimum 6 months validity from the date of travel).
Clients are responsible for obtaining all required visas and travel documents before arrival.
The Company is not responsible for costs arising from denied entry or failure to obtain correct documentation.
African World Park acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, vehicle operators, and other suppliers.
The Company accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from acts of third parties, natural events, or any cause beyond our control.
Participation in safari activities involves inherent risks, which clients accept at their own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by Tanzanian law, the Company’s liability shall be limited to the value of the booked services.
The Company shall not be held responsible for any delay, change, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, epidemics)
Political unrest, war, or terrorism
Park closures, roadblocks, or flight cancellations
In such cases, African World Park will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or partial refunds where possible.
Guests must respect local laws, wildlife, and cultural norms during their trip.
The Company reserves the right to terminate participation without refund for guests engaging in illegal, dangerous, or offensive behavior.
Damage to property or vehicles caused by negligence will be charged to the client.
Children under 12 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Child discounts may apply depending on age, itinerary, and accommodation policies.
Any complaint must be reported immediately to your guide or company representative to allow a prompt resolution.
If not resolved during the trip, written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after completion of the tour.
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania and settled in the courts of Arusha.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money as agreed.
All transaction and bank charges are the responsibility of the client.
All quotes are provided in USD unless otherwise stated.
By joining a safari or tour, you grant African World Park permission to use photos or videos taken during the trip for marketing or promotional purposes, unless you explicitly opt out in writing before travel.
African World Park reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The most recent version available on the Company website at the time of booking will apply.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Arusha, Tanzania.
